| 备注 |
One of the thousands of Austrian municipal Notgeld issues that flooded the country between 1919 and 1922, this 80 Heller note from the small Upper Austrian parish of Pichl bei Windischgarsten reflects the near-total collapse of small-denomination coin circulation following the war. Jos. Feichtinger's Erben was a well-used Linz commercial printer for regional Notgeld, not a specialist security press — the notes were functional stopgaps, not designed for longevity.
Michael Mayr, whose signature appears here, was simultaneously serving as Austrian Federal Chancellor from 1920 to 1921.
