Obverse description Blue letterpress note on cream paper. The upper portion carries the legend GUTSCHEIN DER GEMEINDE MARIALACH AN JAUERLING in stylised Art Nouveau lettering framed by scrollwork ornaments. A central rectangular vignette, signed by the artist K. Rohrhofer in the lower left corner, presents a winter landscape with a bare deciduous tree in the foreground and the village of Maria Laach am Jauerling with its church tower set against a hillside background. Below the vignette, the denomination numeral 80 is printed in large bold type within a decorative surround, flanked by the abbreviated value 80h at each lower corner and the word HELLER centred beneath. Three manuscript signatures appear at the foot of the note above their respective role designations VICEBGM., BGM., and GESCH.G.R.
