Radetzky set against a wooded hillside, signed 'Wild' at lower left. Above the vignette, the title 'KASSENSCHEIN' is set in bold letterpress within a rectangular frame, flanked by the date '1920', with the issuer inscription 'DER GEMEINDE HINTERBRÜHL BEI WIEN' and the value legend 'ÜBER ACHTZIG HELLER' arranged around it. The left and right columns carry a promotional text in German extolling the natural and tourist virtues of Hinterbrühl near Vienna. The central column frames a vignette of Burg Mödling castle set amid dense foliage, captioned 'BURG MÖDLING', with the printer's imprint 'Wehhofers Erben, Mödling.' below. The validity legend 'Laufzeit bis 30. September 1920.' is inscribed across the top of the note. |
