Obverse description Printed in dark red on cream paper, the upper border carries the title legend in bold Gothic script. The central vignette presents a photographic-style interior view of the Stiftsbibliothek (Abbey Library) of Admont, its barrel-vaulted ceiling with elaborate frescoes and towering shelves of books rendered in fine detail. The denomination numeral '80' appears in large octagonal cartouches at upper left and right, while decorative side panels carry stylised edelweiss and floral vase motifs; a motto in Gothic lettering and the market's heraldic shield run along the lower border.

Reverse description Printed in dark red on cream paper with a fine guilloche underprint, the reverse is dominated by a lengthy German-language verse in Gothic script arranged across the upper two-thirds, referencing the Abbey Library's frescoes and the works of Master Stammel. To the upper left, an oval vignette depicts a chamois standing on an alpine rocky outcrop; to the upper right, a smaller rectangular vignette shows a draped table set with a bottle and glasses. Below the verse, a mountain panorama vignette spans the full width, above which the issue place and date 'Admont, Steiermark, im November 1920' and the signatory name 'Mayer' appear. Three facsimile signatures with their official titles are printed beneath the panorama, and a small-type legal disclaimer runs along the very bottom border.
