Reverse description Central field bears the early coat of arms of the Peruvian Republic, consisting of a quartered shield depicting a llama, a cinchona tree, and a cornucopia, enclosed within a wreath of laurel and palm branches tied at the base. The date 1833 appears in the exergue beneath the wreath, flanked by decorative ornaments. The circular peripheral legend REPUB • PERUANA • CUZCO • 8R • B • reads around the upper and lateral border, with the assayer initial and denomination mark completing the inscription.
