Reverse description The reverse of the Bolivian host coin features the national arms of the Republic of Bolivia: a central oval cartouche bearing a mountain landscape (Cerro Potosí) above a llama and a breadfruit tree, flanked by two cannon on the left and a fasces with an axe on the right. Ten five-pointed stars arc across the upper field within the inner legend circle, representing the departments of Bolivia. The peripheral legend reads REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA, with the mint mark PTS (Potosí), denomination 8S, date 1832, and assayer initials I·I disposed around the lower portion of the border.
