Six additional circular seal stamps, each bearing the character '融' (yū, finance/circulation), are impressed at the corners and lateral midpoints of the planchet, serving as authenticating marks of the issuing authority. |

The overall surface exhibits the characteristic uneven texture of hand-cast Japanese domain silver coinage of the late Edo and early Meiji period. |
