Reverse description The quartered Royal Spanish coat of arms, bearing castles and lions in the four principal quarters with a central escutcheon, surmounted by an elaborate royal crown, occupies the center of the field. The shield is encircled by a decorative chain representing the Order of the Golden Fleece, with the badge of the Order pendant at the base. The mint mark LM (Lima) and assayer initials JM appear at the lower left and right respectively, flanking the Order badge. The surrounding legend NOMINA MAGNA SEQUOR runs along the upper periphery within a toothed border.
