正面描述	Armored and draped bust of King Carlos III facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed cuirass and lace jabot visible at the throat, the hair dressed in a long queue tied with a ribbon. The circumferential Latin legend is divided by the bust, with the mint date placed in the lower exergual area below the portrait. The effigy is executed in the neoclassical portrait style characteristic of the Bourbon reform coinage introduced at the Mexico City Mint from 1772.

背面描述	The quartered royal arms of Spain, displaying castles and lions in the principal quarters with the Granada pomegranate in base and the Bourbon fleur-de-lis escutcheon en surtout at center, surmounted by the royal crown. The shield is flanked on either side by the denomination numeral '8' and the assayer initial 'S' (or relevant assayer letter), and is encircled by the collar chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece, from which the badge of the order hangs at the base. A circumferential Latin legend occupies the outer circle, with the Mexico City mint mark 'Mo' and assayer initials 'FM' appearing in the lower field.
