| Opis rewersu | The quartered royal arms of Spain, displaying castles and lions in the principal quarters with the Granada pomegranate in base and the Bourbon fleur-de-lis escutcheon en surtout at center, surmounted by the royal crown. The shield is flanked on either side by the denomination numeral '8' and the assayer initial 'S' (or relevant assayer letter), and is encircled by the collar chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece, from which the badge of the order hangs at the base.
