Obverse description The obverse features a detailed engraving of the original Central Bank of the Philippines building, depicted with its classical columned facade and the Philippine flag flying above. The legend REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS arcs across the upper field in two lines, while the denomination 750 PISO is prominently displayed in large bold numerals in the lower portion of the field. A geometric polygonal design element occupies the right field, rendered in a mirror-polished finish that contrasts with the frosted architectural motif. The inscription CENTRAL BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES appears in small letters across the building's facade. Decorative milled border patterns frame the entire design.

Additional information

Issued to mark the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas's 30th anniversary as an independent central bank — established under Republic Act 7653 in 1993, which replaced the old Central Bank of the Philippines after it collapsed under roughly $8 billion in accumulated debt. The transition was one of the more consequential institutional restructurings in Southeast Asian monetary history, stripping the successor institution of the quasi-fiscal obligations that had gutted its predecessor.

Struck to one troy ounce in .999 silver, a format the BSP has used consistently for commemorative issues since the 1990s. Mintage figures for this release had not been widely published at time of cataloging.
