Denomination numerals '75' appear in bold script at upper left and right, with 'Pfg.' below each, against a green wavy underprint. A scroll cartouche at the foot carries the serial number, while the issuing authority inscription 'Eisfeld, i. August 1921. Der Magistrat' with a manuscript signature appears at lower right, and the validity clause 'Giltig bis 1 Monat nach Aufkündigung' at lower left.

Poetic quotations in German script occupy the left and right fields, and a ribbon scroll below the portrait bears the legend 'Otto Ludwig, geb. d. 12. Febr. 1813 in Eisfeld.' A second scroll at the foot carries a further verse inscription, with the designer's signature 'H. Blechschmidt' at lower right; denomination '75' appears in each corner.
