The Panamanian national flag is depicted unfurled on a flagpole at center, rendered in a stylized, rippling manner with its characteristic quartered design featuring stars. Thirteen five-pointed stars are arranged in a circle around the central motif, recalling the thirteen provinces. Flowering plants, identified as the national flower (the Holy Ghost Orchid), frame the base of the flagpole on either side, adding botanical detail to the composition.
