Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse carries intaglio portraits of Indonesia's founding fathers Dr. H.C. (Ir.) Soekarno and Dr. H.C. (Drs.) Mohammad Hatta at centre-right, set against a multicoloured guilloche underprint in red, green, and blue tones. At upper left, the large numeral '75,000' is printed in bold red, accompanied by the inscription '75 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka 1945–2020'; below, a vignette of a modern metro train appears at lower right. The Bank Indonesia orchid watermark device and two facsimile signatures — those of the Governor of Bank Indonesia and the Minister of Finance — appear along the lower margin, with the legend 'NEGARA KESATUAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA' at right.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a row of seven children in traditional regional costumes from across the Indonesian archipelago, positioned at centre against a cartographic underprint of the Indonesian island chain rendered in light blue and green. A globe and satellite vignette occupies the upper right field, reinforcing the note's commemorative theme of national unity and progress. The serial number appears twice in red at upper right and lower left, with the full legal tender inscription printed in two languages along the lower margin.
