| 背面描述 | The central field depicts the United Nations Secretariat Building in New York rendered in high relief, set against a stylized globe showing meridian and latitude lines. Two olive branches flank the building at left and right, framing the composition in the manner of the official UN emblem. The commemorative date range 1945-1995 appears in the lower exergue. The peripheral legend 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED NATIONS curves around the upper and lateral rim, with a beaded inner border encircling the entire design. |

Equatorial Guinea has a long history of issuing commemorative coins with little connection to national history — the country's mint contracts have cycled through various European producers since independence in 1968, generating collector-market pieces that rarely circulated domestically. The 1995 UN 50th Anniversary series was a widely licensed program, with dozens of issuing authorities producing nearly identical commemoratives under agreement with the UN. Equatorial Guinea was among the smaller issuers participating.
KM#85 is one of several distinct denominations Equatorial Guinea struck under this program in the same year.
