| Obverse description | Central device depicting a detailed rendering of Pha That Luang, the great golden stupa and national monument of Laos, shown in frontal elevation with its characteristic multi-tiered base, ornate spires, and arched gateway. The legend BANK OF LAO PDR arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering. The fineness mark Ag 925 appears vertically at the lower left, the weight 31,1 and the Moscow Mint privy mark at the lower right, and the denomination 70000 KIP together with the date 2014 flanked by dots are inscribed along the lower exergual area. |
