| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis I of Lorraine facing right, rendered in high relief with flowing periwig and lace cravat. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with the hair elaborately curled in the Baroque court style. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the bust, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock and reading clockwise. The coin's milled border frames the composition neatly. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the centre of the field, with wings spread and each head facing outward. An escutcheon on the eagle's breast bears the combined arms of Lorraine and Tuscany. The denomination is expressed in Roman numerals (VII) below the eagle, flanked by the mint marks K and B. The date and the motto legend IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI appear around the design within the milled border. |
