An escutcheon on the eagle's breast bears the combined arms of Lorraine and Tuscany. The denomination is expressed in Roman numerals (VII) below the eagle, flanked by the mint marks K and B. The date and the motto legend IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI appear around the design within the milled border.
