| 背面描述 | Central design features a heart-shaped motif enclosing two scenes depicting Thai agricultural and artisanal life: on the left, a farmer transplanting rice in a paddy field wearing a traditional conical hat, and on the right, a woman operating a traditional loom. The inscription CERES appears at the top of the field, with FAO below the central motif, referencing the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Surrounding legends in Thai and Latin script indicate the denomination, country, and commemorative date of 12th August 1980. |

Thailand issued this coin under the FAO's ongoing "Food for All" campaign, which pressured member governments throughout the 1970s to mint commemorative pieces directing public attention toward global food security. Queen Sirikit's involvement was not ceremonial — she had become an active patron of agricultural development projects in rural Thailand, and her association with FAO programming gave the issue genuine institutional weight rather than the hollow diplomacy that characterized many national FAO releases of the same period.
