The founding year '1964' appears to the left and '2024' to the right of the tower, marking the institution's diamond jubilee. Along the lower arc of the inner circle, the legend 'DIAMOND JUBILEE' is inscribed in Latin characters, and below that 'BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE, PILANI' curves around the outer border.
