Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse is printed in brown on cream paper and divided into three vertical vignette panels enclosed within a dotted decorative border. The left panel presents a rural landscape captioned 'Ruine Wesen', the central panel carries a panoramic view of Waldkirchen am Wesen with a prominent church spire rising above the valley, signed 'Fischer Sepp' at the lower centre, and the right panel shows a hillside townscape captioned 'Bekennser a.'. Denomination numerals '60 Heller' appear in octagonal cartouches at the upper left and upper right, flanking the central vignette, while the issuing authority inscription in Gothic script reads 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Waldkirchen a. W.' with the date '1920' incorporated in the lower central panel.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is printed in dark blue-green on cream paper and enclosed within a geometric square-motif border. The upper portion carries a headed inscription within a rectangular frame reading 'Donautal-Notgeld des oberen Donaugaues', followed by a block of official text in Gothic script setting out the terms of issue, the total amount authorised (30,000 Kronen), and the redemption period at the Gemeindekasse. The date 'Waldkirchen am Wesen, am 7. Juni 1920' and the mayor's name 'Anton Peham' appear above the denomination numerals '60' printed in large ornamental figures at lower left and lower right, with a counterfeiting warning in the lower central area.
