Municipal authorities across Tyrol were effectively left to solve the small-denomination problem themselves, and Wagner in Innsbruck became one of the more active regional printers serving these local emergency issues.
The JPR0898b designation suggests this is a sub-variant within the Sankt Johann series — likely differing from JPR0898a in a detail of color, serial numbering, or text setting rather than a wholly new design.
