The horse is depicted in a vigorous gallop with flowing mane and tail. A countermark consisting of a bundle of arrows — the symbol of the United Provinces — is applied to the reverse field. The surrounding Latin legend CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCVNT ('By concord small things grow') runs along the inner border of the coin. |
