| Obverse description | Bare left-facing effigy of President Stephanus Johannes Paulus Kruger (1825–1904), president of the Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features. The truncation of the bust is clearly defined, and the portrait reflects the characteristic engraving style of Otto Schultz. A legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the coin. |
