| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crowned and draped bust of King Charles I facing left, wearing a lace ruff collar, with the Roman numeral VI (denoting the denomination) positioned to the right of the portrait in the field. The effigy depicts the king in his first bust type, characteristic of the early years of his reign, rendered in the hammered style typical of Tower Mint production.
