| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device depicts the bear of Anhalt passant to the right, crowned, standing atop a stylized brick wall with an archway visible below. The bear is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the fur and crown. The Latin motto PERRUMPENDUM arches above the bear within a curved ribbon or cartouche, referencing the dynastic resolve of the house of Anhalt-Bernburg. The field surrounding the device is smooth and slightly concave. No additional border ornament is present beyond the coin's milled edge. |

Victor II Friedrich ruled Anhalt-Bernburg for only six years, from 1721 until his death in 1727 — the same year this piece was struck. The principality's coinage during his reign was largely conventional for the region, following the established Mariengroschen denominations common across the fragmented German states of the period. This particular issue likely represents one of the final emissions under his authority, given that his successor Christian August inherited the principality that same year.
