Reverse description The denomination VI MARIEN / GROSCH: / FEIN SILB: is boldly inscribed in four lines at the center of the field in large Roman numerals and abbreviated text, attesting to the coin's value and fine silver content. The date 1727 appears below, with the mintmaster's initials I.I.G. beneath. A continuous circular legend encircles the central inscription, reading VICTOR. FRIDERICUS. D. G. P. A. DVX. S. A. &W. C. AS. C. D. B. &. S., identifying the issuing ruler Victor Frederick, Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg, by his full Latin titulature. Small star or dot separators punctuate the legend at intervals.
