| Reverse description | Central device features the Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a crown and the whole topped by a central Imperial crown. The breast of the eagle bears an inescutcheon with the Austrian fess (horizontal bar). At the base of the eagle, the mintmark MM appears within a small oval cartouche. The date 1688 is divided across the upper field, flanking the crown, and the circumferential legend ARCHID.AVS.DVX.B.CO.TYR. encircles the design within a beaded border, expanding to Archidux Austriae Dux Burgundiae Comes Tyrolis. |
