The date 1759 is split across the lower field with the denomination numeral 6 interposed between the two halves of the date, reading 17 (6) 59. The circumferential legend MONTF.MUNZ. appears in Latin script around the upper portion of the coin, separated by stops. A toothed border frames the entire design. |
