| Obverse description | Three heraldic shields arranged in a trefoil grouping occupy the central field: at upper left, a shield bearing a rampant lion; at upper right, a diagonally striped shield with floral ornaments; and at lower center, a shield with a diagonal checkerboard or fretty pattern. The date is inscribed in two parts flanking the lower central shield, reading '1792' across the lower field. No surrounding legend is present; the coin's milled edge frames the design. |
