| Descrizione del rovescio | The enthroned Madonna, crowned and enveloped in a radiant glory of fine linear rays emanating from her figure, is depicted seated upon a bank of clouds, holding the Christ Child on her left knee; the Child raises one hand in blessing and holds an orb in the other. The composition is rendered in high relief in a devotional Baroque style. The surrounding legend, separated by a stop, reads as a verse from Psalm 18, serving as a Marian invocation. |
