In her raised right hand she holds a serpent, while her right arm rests upon a shield ornamented with the two-faced head of Janus; her left arm is extended outward. In the background, a detailed panoramic view of the city of Salzburg as seen from the east is rendered in the field. The exergue or legend area bears the Latin motto and the election date in Roman numerals.
