| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Charles Philip of Greiffenklau-Vollraths facing right, wearing elaborate clerical robes with rich lace detail and a clerical collar, the hair styled in a long flowing wig characteristic of the mid-18th century. The engraver's signature VESTNER appears in small letters below the bust truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait reading CAROLUS PHILIPP D G EP HERB S R I PR FR OR DUX, denoting his ecclesiastical and secular titles. The portrait is executed in fine high-relief style, displaying the accomplished medallic artistry of Vestner. The field is smooth and unadorned, focusing full attention on the dignified effigy. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | An elaborate allegorical composition depicting two standing female figures flanking a richly draped altar or table upon which rests the quartered arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg beneath a prince-bishop's hat. The figure to the left represents Pietas and the figure to the right Copia, with a radiant all-seeing eye within a triangle emanating divine light from above. The outer circular legend reads DAT DEUS APPLAUDUNT PIETAS ET COPIA RERUM, while a four-line chronological inscription in the exergue records the key dates: ELECT D 14 APR HOMAGIUM PRAEST D 26 IUN CONSE CRAT D 5 OCTOB MDCCXLIX, commemorating the election, homage, and consecration of the Prince-Bishop in 1749. The composition is finely engraved in the baroque tradition with strong architectural framing elements and drapery. |
