| Obverse description | At right, a neoclassical bank building is rendered in intaglio style as the central vignette, while the denomination 伍仟圓 (Five Thousand Yuan) appears in large Chinese characters at left over a blue guilloche underprint, flanked by two red seal impressions. The bank title 東北銀行 runs across the top in Chinese characters, with the serial number and prefix letters positioned above, and the date inscription 中華民國三十七年 along the lower border. The overall colour scheme is blue, consistent with the noted colour variety. |
