| Obverse description | State treasury bond printed in red on white paper, with the royal title ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ (Kingdom of Bulgaria) across the top centre. The Bulgarian state coat of arms with lion supporters occupies the right side within a guilloche circle. At left, the issuing authority text of the General Directorate of State and State-Guaranteed Debts is set in a text panel alongside the bond terms, stating capital of 5000 leva, interest of 300 leva, and total of 5300 leva, with maturity date of 15 December 1944. Two manuscript signatures appear at the bottom, attributed to the Director of State Debts and the Minister of Finance, dated Sofia, 15 December 1942. |
