| 正面描述 | The obverse reproduces the design of the Slovak 5000 Korún banknote in struck silver relief. To the right, a detailed facing portrait bust of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik wearing a military peaked cap is rendered in high relief. The denomination '5000' appears prominently in the upper centre and lower right fields, with the legend 'PÄŤTISÍC SLOVENSKÝCH KORÚN' inscribed vertically. A central holographic security foil inset, featuring the 'SK' monogram and denomination '5000', is affixed to the field. To the left, a security panel with the 'SK' watermark emblem, serial number 'A12345678', and Braille dots is reproduced in relief. The name 'MILAN RASTISLAV ŠTEFÁNIK' is inscribed below the portrait. |

Štefánik died in May 1919 when his aircraft — an Italian Caproni Ca.3 — was shot down approaching Bratislava. Whether by friendly fire, mechanical failure, or something more deliberate has never been conclusively settled. The Slovak government investigation pointed to accident; the timing, with Štefánik returning to assert influence over Slovak affairs just as Czechoslovak centralism was consolidating, has kept the conspiracy theories alive for over a century.
The 5000 Kč denomination placed this among the highest-value Slovak commemorative silver issues of its period.
