| Beschrijving voorzijde | The central field bears the national coat of arms of Côte d'Ivoire, depicting an elephant's head in profile set within a shield, flanked by two palm trees and surmounted by a radiant rising sun. A scroll beneath the shield bears the legend RÉPUBLIQUE DE CÔTE D'IVOIRE. The date 2024 appears in the upper field above the arms, while the denomination 5000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in large characters along the lower portion of the coin. The circular legend RÉPUBLIQUE DE CÔTE D'IVOIRE runs along the upper periphery. The entire obverse is rendered in antique finish, lending depth and contrast to the sculptural relief. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features an intricately detailed, large-scale dragon's head rendered in exceptional high relief, filling virtually the entire field and coiling upon itself in a manner evoking East Asian mythological tradition. The dragon's visage is depicted frontally, with finely engraved scales, flowing mane-like spines radiating outward, and coiling whiskers flanking the muzzle. The background field is treated with a contrasting gold-toned antique finish, dramatically highlighting the silvered sculptural relief of the dragon. The inscription HAUT-RELIEF appears along the lower edge of the design, while the weight and fineness legend 5 OZ .999 AG is engraved vertically along the right field. The engraver's signature P.
