Obverse description The obverse features the denomination '5000 forint' prominently inscribed in the upper field in a mixed serif and script typeface. Along the upper rim, the legend 'MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG' (Republic of Hungary) curves from left to right. At center, a Chi-Rho (Christogram) roundel is depicted in raised relief, flanked by small globular decorations, evoking early Christian iconography. Below the roundel, the mint mark 'BP.' appears at the lower left and the designer's initials 'ISZ' at the lower right, with the date '2004' inscribed vertically along the right inner field.
