The issuer name BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA appears at upper left, with the numeral 5000 in each corner save the lower left; the denomination CINCO MIL BOLÍVARES and the payment clause PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO are printed in the centre, where the initial C of CINCO employs an optically variable ink.
