Chinese inscriptions identifying the issuing bank, denomination, and the 35th year of the Republic of China are distributed across the note, with the printer's designation appearing at the lower margin.

Descrizione del rovescio	Printed in orange-brown, the reverse carries a central oval vignette with an intaglio scene of the Battle of Liaoluo Bay (1633), rendered with sailing warships engaged in combat before a mountainous coastal backdrop. The denomination numeral "500" appears in large figures at each corner and within the flanking guilloche panels, with an ornate lathe-work border framing the entire composition.
