| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a detailed bird's-eye panoramic view of the fortified town of Sisak (Sisek) as it appeared in the late sixteenth century, rendered in high relief with towers, ramparts, and surrounding waterways clearly delineated. Superimposed above the townscape is a large heraldic shield bearing the arms of Carniola, flanked by a quartered coat of arms. The historic date '1593' appears prominently above the central design, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the Christian victory over the Ottoman forces at the Battle of Sisak. The curved legend 'CARNIOLAE VICTORIA SISEK' runs along the upper rim, while the engraver's name 'Adam pl. Ravbar' is inscribed in script across the lower field. |

The Battle of Sisak in June 1593 — fought near the confluence of the Kupa and Sava rivers in present-day Croatia — ended a decades-long Ottoman advance into Central Europe and is often credited with halting the broader push toward Vienna. The Slovenian commemoration of that anniversary in 1993 carries its own political weight: the coin was issued just two years after Slovenia's declaration of independence, when situating the new state within a longer history of European resistance had obvious appeal to the government.
