The rooster stands upon a decorative horizontal bar within a beaded inner circle, itself enclosed by an ornamental wreath-like ring. The surrounding field is populated with smaller roosters and stylised sun, moon, cloud, and wave motifs arranged symmetrically, evoking traditional East Asian decorative iconography.
