背面描述 The reverse carries a central vignette of a fisherman bearing a pole hung with dried fish, flanked to the left by a view of the Central Bank of Seychelles building in Victoria and to the right by an intaglio vignette of a Seychelles scops owl perched on a branch. The issuer name "CENTRAL BANK OF Seychelles" and "LABANK SANTRAL SESEL" run across the top, and the denomination "FIVE HUNDRED RUPEES" is inscribed at the lower centre, with a row of marine shells along the upper border.

备注

The 2011 series marked a significant redesign effort for the Central Bank of Seychelles, with Thomas De La Rue producing notes that incorporated updated security architecture — though the thread and watermark combination here is relatively modest by the standards De La Rue was delivering to other central banks at the same period. The 500 Rupee denomination is the highest in the series, and high-value notes from small island economies tend to see limited genuine circulation, moving instead between banks and tourism-related cash handling.

Pick 45 superseded the earlier De La Rue-printed issues from the 1990s and 2000s. Cotton substrate from that production run has shown reasonable durability in the humid Seychellois climate, where polymer alternatives were considered but not adopted.
