| Reverse description | The reverse displays a bold Cyrillic denomination inscription arranged in two registers across the central field: the word РУБЛЕЙ (Roubles) in large letters above, and the numeral 500 below. Above the legend, a small emblem consisting of a wreath enclosing a stylized device — suggestive of a Soviet-influenced symbol — is struck in low relief at the top of the field. The surrounding field is lightly striated and the rim is irregular, consistent with the hand-made or semi-mechanical die-cutting methods employed at the Tashkent Mint. The overall execution is bold but roughly finished, typical of emergency coinage of the early Soviet Central Asian republics. |
