| Obverse description | Black on blue-grey underprint. The upper portion carries an ornate baroque frame with floral and foliate scrollwork at the corners, with denomination numerals '500' in each upper corner medallion and '4%' rosettes at the lower corners. At the top centre, the Imperial double-headed eagle vignette is set within a circular guilloche medallion flanked by laurel branches. The date '1915' appears in rectangular tablets on each side. The central inscription in large Cyrillic letterpress reads 'ПЯТЬСОТЪ РУБЛЕЙ' within a cloud-shaped guilloche panel, above which the title 'БИЛЕТЪ ГОСУДАРСТВЕННАГО КАЗНАЧЕЙСТВА' is printed. Three handwritten signatures appear in the lower register alongside their printed titles, with a serial number below and validity inscription 'Билетъ действителенъ по 1 Февраля 1929 г.' at the foot. |
