| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a boldly sculpted depiction of a coiled serpent rendered in a traditional East Asian decorative style, its sinuous body forming a figure-eight infinity loop at centre with finely detailed scale and cloud-scroll texturing in high relief. The snake's head emerges at the upper portion of the design, facing left, surrounded by stylised cloud motifs that fill the inner field. A decorative cloud-scroll cartouche frames the central device, echoing the ornamental border seen on the obverse. The legend YEAR OF THE SNAKE curves along the upper rim in raised Latin letters, while the denomination NU. 500 appears prominently in the lower field within a scroll-ornamented banner, with the fineness inscription 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER incused below in smaller lettering. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Bhutan's lunar series issues are produced under the authority of the Royal Monetary Authority, established in 1982 as the kingdom's first central bank — prior to that, currency matters fell under direct royal administration. The Snake occupies the sixth position in the Tibetan-influenced twelve-year cycle observed in Bhutanese culture, where it carries associations with wisdom rather than the ambivalence it holds in Western traditions.
KM#292 is a 2025 issue and attribution is preliminary pending full NGC/PCGS population data.
