The issue title "AUSHILFSSCHEIN DER STADT ALTONA" appears at the top, with the legal tender clause, place, date of 8 October 1922, and four manuscript signatures of city officials arranged in the lower half.

The printer's imprint is set in small type at the bottom margin.
