The imagery is rendered in a bold, expressive sculptural style consistent with Fabbri's artistic idiom. The stainless steel outer ring carries the date 1983 at the top and the denomination 500 at the bottom, with the engraver's signature A.FABBRI and the Rome mint mark R in the legend.
