At right, the identical intaglio portrait vignette of the alpine-dressed young man appears within an ornate scrollwork frame. The central panel bears the heading GELDANWEISUNG above ÜBER and the guilloche-framed numeral 500 with LIRE FÜNFHUNDERT; a six-line German text clause follows, referencing the Banca d'Italia deposit coverage and exchangeability, citing issuance by the Chef der Provinzialverwaltung in Laibach dated 14. IX. 1944, VII. Nr. 4504/1. The issuer SPARKASSE DER PROVINZ LAIBACH is set in bold letterpress with signature lines for Vorsitzender and Generaldirektor. Sie wird dem Überbringer innerhalb einer vom Chef der Provinzialverwaltung in Laibach bestimmten Frist in geltende Banknoten der Banca d'Italia umgetauscht werden.
