Reverse description The reverse displays a central Ottoman coat of arms comprising a radiant sun rising above a shield flanked by flags, weapons, and imperial symbols, all executed in intricate relief. Surrounding the central device is the Arabic legend recording the sultan's accession year and the mint name Constantinople, along with the Hijri date 1336. An inner beaded border and an outer decorative border of alternating stars and stylized foliate ornaments mirror those of the obverse, giving the coin a highly symmetrical and ceremonial appearance. The year numeral appears in the lower portion of the central field in Eastern Arabic numerals. The composition and style are consistent with the large-denomination gold presentation issues of the late Ottoman period.
